Sex therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy that addresses concerns related to sexual function, intimacy, desire, arousal, and sexual identity. It is talk-based therapy no physical contact or nudity is involved. As an AASECT-certified sex therapist, I provide evidence-based treatment in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
All sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant telehealth video. This allows you to receive quality therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I am licensed to practice in Alaska and Oregon.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Extended sessions of 80 minutes are also available and may be recommended for couples work or intensive processing.
I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. I provide superbills (itemized receipts) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I also accept HSA/FSA cards.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an extensively researched psychotherapy method that helps people recover from trauma and distressing life experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation to help your brain naturally process traumatic memories, reducing their emotional intensity.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions. As progress is made, we may transition to biweekly or monthly sessions. Session frequency is always tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is strictly confidential, with limited exceptions required by law (such as imminent danger to self or others, or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult). I will discuss these limitations with you during our first session.
The first session is an intake where we’ll discuss your history, current concerns, and therapy goals. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and determine the best approach for your treatment. You’re welcome to ask any questions.
Absolutely. I am affirming towards all sexual and romantic orientations, gender identities, and consensual relationship types. My practice is an inclusive, welcoming space for everyone.

I require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee equal to the full session rate.
